Corinthian Stables is proud to announce that their riding student, Taylor Hudson, has been selected as the 2019 AMHA Youth of the Year. This event is one of the highlights at the Morgan World Championships and brought 19 talented girls from across the country to compete.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe 2019 Grand National Morgan Youth of the Year awards took place from October 16th to October 20th on the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City. The Youth of the Year contestants qualify for this content by winning a local contest or scoring over an 800 final score. The winner receives a fabulous prize package of $3,500 to be used for ambassadorship, stewardship, and education, and rewards of their choosing. They also receive the World Champion Gold Plaque, a large engraved silver trophy bowl, the Grand National cooler, their name on the Youth Banner which hangs over the coliseum every year, and the prestige of being the AMHA YOUTH OF THE YEAR. The contest includes a 250 question exam on horse and Morgan related topics, a ridden horsemanship pattern, a multi-faceted horse judging contest, as well as giving a speech on a horse related topic. Coming from the Gold Cup Morgan Regional horse Show, this year\u2019s Youth of the Year Champion was Taylor Hudson with an incredible score of 885!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the AMHA Youth Award, Taylor and her horse Corinthian Lone Star, claimed National Top Ten placings in Showmanship, Youth Western Pleasure, and Sport Horse. Congratulations Taylor on this Grand Finale to an outstanding Junior Exhibitor career!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
